Google made experiments about putting the text link ads above the image search results for months and a few days ago when i searched for an image i saw the ads.I’m not sure if it is necessary but from nowon i think we will see those text link ads.

Google mentioned last year that the the volume of commercial queries has increased significantly.

In 2006,Google estimated that they could earn $80-200 million a year by including text ads in Image Search by text link ads.Google decided not to monetize image search results in 2006 but now i think the experiment showed different results.
